IMELTECH/SPECTECH group of companies are involved in designing, fabricating, manufacturing and supply of a wide range of products that deals in water purification for industrial, commercial and domestic applications. Since its inception, the group has diversified its business into such new fields as Medical, Cosmetic and Home Care.

Briefly, SPECTECH ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. (CO. NO. 127592) was founded in September 1984, to design and fabricate water treatment systems and other engineering equipment for the water purification industry. Later on, in August 1991, IMELTECH SDN. BHD. (CO. NO. 223078- K) was incorporated to handle the marketing aspect of the engineering business. SPECTECH CHEMICAL SDN. BHD. (CO. NO. 393171-D) formed in July 1996 is the bumiputra marketing arm of the group and is registered with Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia (No. Rujukan Pendaftaran : 357-00045123).

Foremost, among the group's continued growth has been the management's constant awareness of new demands and market trends. This, along with the companies' wide-ranging and imaginative research and development activities, provides our customers with products and services second to none, and has been the driving force which has brought the companies to a unique position in the industrial and medical world.

In its effort to build an identity common amount the group, the trade name i-tec with the logo of a friendlydolphin has been adopted in all products marketed by the IMELTECH/SPECTECH group of companies.
